Greetings, house guests. You must be a little more familiar with how things work around here now. There is no escape.

One thing does seem to have changed: characters can now freely investigate the now unlocked Crypt.

On Sunday, nothing much at all happens. Better take the time to rest, recuperate, and decide your next steps. Maybe you have people you want to talk to after that … shit show? Now’s the time: unload those feelings.

Alternatively, with the pantry open with plenty of food available, why not wander into the kitchen for a snack and a chat with whoever is there?

Come Monday, everyone will make up to a most unpleasant surprise: their motive for the week.

Unfortunately for those characters with questions about the motive, Pratibha is nowhere to be found afterwards. Additionally, all the profile entries for Leona, Phoenix, and Yoojin have changed. It’s a fairly clear indicator that they are dead. Enjoy this useful information!

On Tuesday, there are two noticeable changes. The first is that there is a new puzzle. The second thing? Pratibha’s presence. She's finally back. Why was she missing on Sunday and Monday? Why does she seem so … out of it? She’s all curled up in the laundry room this time, intermittently snoozing in the little nook off to one side.

On Wednesday, Pratibha is gone again. And so, unfortunately, is one of your own. What happened? Who is it? All subsequent headers, including Wednesday's, will be frozen until a Wednesday event can take place. We will announce to the playerbase once Wednesday's thread is live for you to investigate!

Thursday brings a very specific change: after 9 PM, no one get into, or out of, your rooms. Plan wisely. You may get stuck in the halls, which might be fine … except we know what happened last Thursday night.

Thursday also brings with it another new puzzle.

Friday is investigation time The investigation post will go live at 3 PM EST, 5/9.

Saturday is the day of your “first” real ritual. You may find the ritual post here at 12 PM EST, 5/10.

[ The tension leaves her when she realizes it's the gloomy boy. It wasn't hard to bully him into eating ham at the trial, so that cements Aqua in the not-scary camp if his condition hadn't already. But she still snaps at him for surprising her. ]

Yes! [ Wait. ] No.

[ Real mixed messages, there. She makes a frustrated noise. ]

My head hurts.

[Doctor mode: activate. He draws the rest of the way to her and carefully finagles kneeling at her side.]

Is that something that happens often?

[ She grumbles. ]

I usually have medicine. Not that it always helps.

[He keeps his voice low, in deference to her headache.]

Do you know what kind of medicine?

[madderbloom]

Nghh.... I don't know. Ask Dominic.

[ It's his job to know. ]

...I don't think he's here for me to ask right now.

[Aqua watches her for a moment.]

I can bring you a painkiller, if you want to try it. Have you ever had bad reactions to other medicine?

[ She shouts and then deflates. She knows why he isn't, but still. ]

What kind of bad reaction?

[ She's had. A lot of medicines and a lot of reactions. ]

[While he's not used to girls like Anemone, he is used to histrionic types. Aqua hardly reacts.]

They could have made you feel worse. Or not like yourself. Or, worst case, anaphylaxis... ah, a really bad allergic reaction, like you can't breathe.

I'm not gonna die of anaphyl-what's it. I have good drug tolerance.

[ 'Medicine can't kill me' is an odd hill to die on but this is Anemone and she is very normal. ]

[That's mildly concerning, but... well, he can try giving her half a pill to start, just in case.]

...Okay. I'll be back in a little bit.

[Away he goes.

Aqua comes back with a divided pill of The Good Stuff, as Pratibha promised him, and a glass of water. (And also the equivalent of an Epi-pen in his pocket.)]

Anemone, can you sit up to drink?

[ Anemone's still where Aqua left her. She was unable to get any shut-eye and sits up with a groan. ]

[He puts half a pill in her hand and then offers her the glass.]

Here. If you don't feel any different in half an hour, tell me. I'll be right here.

[ She snatches it up and downs it without questioning where he got it, then lies back down and shuts her eyes.

...Someone forgot to say thank you. ]

[Yeah, he's learning that this is the sort of behavior to expect from her.

True to his word, though, he just takes a different seat nearby and zones out. Probably monologuing in his head like some kind of mystery protagonist. If Anemone breaks out into a rash or starts convulsing, he's here.]
