That said, the journal is not written in either Korean or Chinese. It's either in a language Luis can read or is otherwise subject to the translation mechanic that allows everyone here to understand one another.
It's just that the pages are mostly blank.
One random page somewhere in the middle, however, offers a few weird sentences (with room for more, as if they might appear later, in time):
